Children's Ministry and Sunday School
Krystina Meyers and Jean Ward

Sunday School will continue to be a revival element of the 20th century church.  Our children and new converts must be challenged academically if we are to maintain any level of real growth.  A large tent requires large stakes and Sunday School will hold doctrine deeply in the heart.  Evangelism is necessary in teaching and will sustain and perpetuate a consistent culture of revival in every saint.  We must invest our time to commit truth to faithful children and adults that will teach others also.  We must encourage our children and together bring the whole gospel to the whole world!

In a recent survey, 80% of parents polled indicated that they desired to have their children in some sort of religious training.  Our General Sunday School Director, Gary Erickson, states in his latest book Sunday Morning Reflections, "Imagine the growth we could experience if we could just "save our children"!  The sad reality is that we are losing too many of our children to the allurements of the world.  This problem has many factors, but I believe it is primarily a lack of thorough indoctrination.  There must be more education to counteract the increased trend toward entertainment."

Our nation was founded on Biblical principles and it is our mission to teach creatively and relevantly these timeless truths to children and adults alike.  We currently have four classes on Sunday mornings ranging from primary to adult.
